System Requirements
To install Windows Server 2016 Standard, ensure your hardware meets the following requirements:

Step 1: Downloading the ISO Image
- Go to the Microsoft Evaluation Center website.
- Select the option to download the Standard edition.
- Register or log in to your Microsoft account.
- Download the ISO image to your computer.
Step 2: Installing the System
- Insert the installation media (DVD or USB) into the server.
- Restart the server and enter the BIOS/UEFI to set the boot device.
- After the installer starts, select the language, time format, and keyboard, then click "Next".
- Click "Install Now".
- Enter the product key you received from KluczeSoft.
- Select the "Windows Server 2016 Standard (Server with Desktop Experience)" edition.
- Accept the license terms and click "Next".
- Select "Custom: Install only Windows (advanced)".
- Specify the partition where you want to install the system and click "Next".
- Wait for the installation to complete and restart the server.
Activating with a Product Key
GUI Method
- Right-click on "This PC" and select "Properties".
- Click "Change product key".
- Enter the product key and click "Next".
Command Line Method
- Open the command prompt as an administrator.
- Enter the following commands:
slmgr.vbs /ipk YOUR-PRODUCT-KEY
slmgr.vbs /ato
Verifying Activation
- Open the command prompt as an administrator.
- Type
slmgr.vbs /dliand press Enter. - Check the activation status in the displayed dialog box.
Post-Installation Configuration
- Configure the server role, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
- Install necessary system updates via Windows Update.
- Configure security features, such as Windows Defender and the network firewall.
