System Requirements

Downloading the Installer

It is safest to download Office 2019 Professional Plus from:

• the installation link received from KluczeSoft,
• official Microsoft tools for Office deployments.

In the case of the Professional Plus edition, the Click-to-Run installer or the Office Deployment Tool is most commonly used. We do not recommend downloading the package from random forums, "ready-made activators" or modified ISO images.

Before installation, it is worth:

• uninstalling older or test versions of Office,
• restarting the system,
• temporarily closing programs that may block the installation.

Step-by-Step Installation

Standard Method

1. Download the installer from the link received after purchase.
2. Right-click the installation file and select run as administrator.
3. Wait for the installer to download the required components from Microsoft servers.
4. After completion, run Word or Excel.
5. Accept the licence terms and complete the configuration.

If You Have an Older Office Version

If the installer reports a conflict, uninstall the previous version of the Office package, especially if it was a 32-bit version and you are installing a 64-bit version or vice versa. Only then repeat the installation.

Activation

Office 2019 is activated differently than antivirus software or Windows. For the Office package, ospp.vbs is used, not slmgr.vbs.

Activation in the graphical interface

1. Open Word or Excel.
2. Go to File > Account.
3. Select the option to change or enter the product key.
4. Enter the received key.
5. Complete the online activation.

Activation in CMD

Run the Command Prompt as an administrator, then enter:

cd /d "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16"
cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
cscript ospp.vbs /act

If you have 32-bit Office on a 64-bit system, use:

Telephone activation

If online activation fails, contact Microsoft's hotline at 00 800 121 1654. During the conversation, prepare the installation ID displayed by the activation wizard.

Important distinction

• Office: ospp.vbs /inpkey, then ospp.vbs /act
• Windows: slmgr.vbs /ipk, then slmgr.vbs /ato
• Windows Server: slmgr.vbs /ipk, then slmgr.vbs /ato
• Visual Studio: Help > Register Product > Unlock with Product Key
• CAL: this is not software, but a license document
• Norton, Bitdefender, ESET, McAfee, Avast: activation is done through the account or manufacturer's website, not through ospp.vbs

Verification of activation

You can check the activation status in two ways.

In the Office program

Open File > Account and check the product section. A message about the activated package should appear.

In CMD

Enter:

cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus

The command will show the license status and the last 5 characters of the installed key.

Troubleshooting

"This product key is for the volume licensed version of Microsoft Office 2019"

The key does not match the installed edition. Most often, you need to uninstall the incorrect Office variant and install exactly Office 2019 Professional Plus.

"0xC004F074"

Activation error, usually related to attempting to use the wrong activation method or a problem with the licensing service. First, make sure you are using ospp.vbs /inpkey and ospp.vbs /act, not Windows commands.

"0xC004C060"

The key has been blocked or is no longer accepted for the given installation. In such a situation, it's best to contact the seller or call Microsoft: 00 800 121 1654.

"Cannot find ospp.vbs"

You are entering the wrong directory. Check both folders: %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16 and %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16.

"We cannot activate the Office package because we cannot connect to the server"

Check your internet connection, system date and time, firewall, and proxy server. In company networks, the problem is often caused by traffic filtering.

"Installation stops or rolls back changes"

Most often, the cause is remnants of an older Office version, lack of Windows updates, or a conflict between 32/64-bit versions. A full uninstallation of the old package and a restart of the computer usually helps.
