Error 0x803F7000: Windows cannot activate — check your internet connection

This error occurs in: Windows 10, Windows 11.

Cause

General online activation error. It may be caused by temporary issues with Microsoft servers, lack of internet connection, or network firewall.

Symptoms

• During activation, the message appears: "Windows cannot activate — check your internet connection"
• Error code: 0x803F7000
• English version: "Windows is unable to activate right now"

Step-by-step solution

Wait a few minutes and try again. Run the Activation Troubleshooter. If the problem persists, activate by phone.

Method 1: Reactivation via Settings

1. Open Settings → System → Activation
2. Click Troubleshoot (if available)
3. Click Change product key
4. Enter your KluczeSoft key and click Next → Activate

Method 2: Activation via command line

Open Command Prompt as administrator and type:

slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
slmgr /ato

Replace XXXXX-... with your product key.

Method 3: Phone activation

If online activation does not work:

slui 4

Call the displayed number and follow the instructions.

Verification

After performing the steps, check if the activation was successful:

• Windows: Settings → System → Activation → should be "Windows is activated"
• Or: slmgr /xpr in the command line
