The protection period starts from the moment the key is activated in the Norton account, not from the date of purchase. Signature database updates, protection modules, and online services work throughout the active subscription period. It's also worth noting the support dates for Microsoft systems: Windows 8.1 ended support on 10 January 2023, and Windows 7 on 14 January 2020. Norton still runs on some older systems, but for daily work, we recommend Windows 10 or 11.

Downloading the Installer
The safest way to download the installer is directly from the Norton panel. If the key was purchased from KluczeSoft, go to norton.com/setup, enter the product code, and log in or create a Norton account. After assigning the license to your account, the system will display a download button.
If the subscription is already added to your account, go to my.norton.com, open the subscription section, and select Download. On phones, you'll download the app from Google Play or the App Store and then log in with the same account.
Step-by-Step Installation
Windows and macOS
Download the installer from your Norton account, run the file, and accept the user account control. The wizard will automatically download the latest components. After installation is complete, log in to your Norton account and wait for the first program update. Finally, run a full scan and enable VPN.
Android and iPhone
Install the Norton 360 app from the official store, log in to the account with an active subscription, and grant the required permissions. On iOS or Android, the app may ask for permission to configure VPN and security notifications.
Activation
Activation in the graphical interface
Open a browser and go to norton.com/setup. Enter the 25-character key, log in to your Norton account, and confirm the subscription assignment. Then, download the program or open the already installed Norton application and log in with the same account. If the system asks about an automatic renewal plan, read the message carefully and choose the appropriate option.
Activation from the command line
For Norton antivirus products, activation does not take place through ospp.vbs, slmgr.vbs, or other system scripts. The correct method is the manufacturer's account. From the command line, you can only open the relevant pages and check connectivity:

Activation verification
After correct activation, the My Norton window should display a protection status without warnings and the subscription expiration date. Additionally, in My Subscriptions on your Norton account, you will see an active plan assigned to your account. It's also worth checking if the VPN module works and if LiveUpdate ends with a message about current definitions.
Troubleshooting
“Invalid Product Key”
This usually means a typo, using a key for a different product, or attempting to activate in the wrong account. Check if you are entering the full 25 characters without spaces.
“Revoked Product Key”
This message indicates a revoked key. Such a code will not be activated and requires clarification from the seller or Norton support.
“We are in the process of activating this product key”
Activation is in progress on the server side. Wait a few minutes, log out, and log in again.
“Enrollment Temporarily Unavailable”
This is a temporary registration service issue. Try again later, refresh your browser, or use a different one.
“You already have an existing membership…”
This usually appears when the account already has an active subscription with identity services. In such a situation, it's best to contact Norton support.
LiveUpdate error 8921,250
The program cannot connect to the update server. Check your internet, proxy settings, firewall, and restart your computer.
VPN does not connect to the server
Change the VPN region, disable and enable the application, check the connection without VPN, or switch to a different Wi-Fi network.
