Microsoft Word 2019 - standalone document application

Important compatibility

Installation step by step
Standard installation
- Download the installer from the official source or the link received from KluczeSoft.
- Right-click the installation file and select run as administrator.
- Wait for the installer to download the required components and complete the configuration.
- After completion, run Microsoft Word 2019.
- On the first start, accept the license terms and go to the activation screen.
If the installation does not start
The most common problem is:
- an old version of Office left in the system
- damaged Click-to-Run service
- blockage by firewall, proxy, or security software

Activation
Activation in the graphical interface
- Open Word 2019.
- Go to
File > Account. - Select the option to change or enter the product key.
- Enter the 25-character key received from KluczeSoft.
- Complete the wizard and wait for the successful activation message.
Activation via CMD
Run the Command Prompt as an administrator, then go to the Office directory. Most often it will be one of the following paths:
cd /d "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16"
or on a 64-bit system with 32-bit Office:
cd /d "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16"
Enter the key:
cscript ospp.vbs /inpkey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
Then run the online activation:
cscript ospp.vbs /act

Telephone activation
Telephone activation is useful when:
- the activation server rejects the key despite a correct installation
- the computer was previously activated with a different version of Office
- there is a problem with the region, system time, or network connection
During the call, prepare the installation ID and product key.
Activation verification
The easiest way to check the status is in Word:
File > Account- the status should indicate an activated product
You can also use CMD:
cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus
If the response shows an active license status, Word 2019 has been successfully activated.
Troubleshooting
Error: the product key is incorrect
The most common cause is a typo or using a key for a different product version. Word 2019 must be activated with a key compatible with Word 2019 or the relevant sales channel.
Error: this key is intended for a different version of Office
This happens when there is Word 2021, Microsoft 365, or remnants of an older Office version in the system. Uninstall the conflicting versions and reinstall Word 2019.
Error 0xC004F050
Usually means that the system does not accept the key in the current configuration. Check the product edition, installation language, and whether you are entering the key into the correct edition.
Error 0xC004C060
Most often indicates a problem with the license channel validity or a block on the activation server side. In such a case, it's worth trying again later or using telephone activation at 00 800 121 1654.
Error 0x80070005
This is a typical problem with permissions. Run Word and CMD as an administrator, then repeat ospp.vbs /inpkey and ospp.vbs /act.
Message: we cannot connect to the activation server
Check the internet, date and time in the system, network firewall, proxy, and antivirus program. Sometimes temporarily disabling HTTPS filtering helps.
Word runs as an unactivated product despite entering the key
Run cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus, close all Office applications, and restart the computer. If the status is still unclear, remove conflicting Office installations and reactivate.
