Error 0x803F7007: Unable to activate Windows — no internet connection

This error occurs in: Windows 10, Windows 11.

Cause

Lack of connection to Microsoft activation servers. This may be due to no internet, a network firewall blocking access, or temporary unavailability of Microsoft servers.

Symptoms

• During activation, the message appears: "Unable to activate Windows — no internet connection"
• Error code: 0x803F7007
• English version: "Windows can't be activated right now. Try again later"

Step-by-Step Solution

Check your internet connection. Ensure that the firewall is not blocking https://activation.sls.microsoft.com. Try again after a few minutes or activate by phone.

Method 1: Reactivation through Settings

1. Open Settings → System → Activation
2. Click Troubleshoot (if available)
3. Click Change product key
4. Enter the key from KluczeSoft and click Next → Activate

Method 2: Activation through Command Line

Open Command Prompt as administrator and enter:

slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
slmgr /ato

Replace XXXXX-... with your product key.

Method 3: Phone Activation

If online activation does not work:

slui 4

Call the displayed number and follow the instructions.

Verification

After performing the steps, check if the activation was successful:

• Windows: Settings → System → Activation → should be "Windows is activated"
• Or: slmgr /xpr in the command line
